The Denver Nuggets are a NBA team in the Western Conference Northwest Division. Their biggest highlight is their one championship in 2023 taking down the Miami Heat. Over the last few years they've had two star players leading this team. One was Canadian point guard Jamal Murray who made his first all star appearence this year. Their other star player is Serbian center Nikola Jokic who is now looked at as one of the best centers of all time with his three time MVP seasons, 8 time all star, and currently second in all time triple doubles. Last year leading to this season the Nuggets seemed to be making a lot of moves by signing free agents at a lower contract and making some trades here and there. It seemed that leading up to the season there might've been a good chance the Nuggets would make a finals appearence, and it was until the playoffs started. The Nuggets throughout the entire season had maintained one of the best offenses and didn't worry too much about defense since they appeared to think that the best defense was more offense. In the first round of the NBA playoffs they matched up against the Minnesota Timberwolves who are know for grit on both sides of the ball. The Nuggets were embarassed, getting scored on every possesion and not being able to lock any of the Timberwolves players up. Everyone in the world that had watched this series knew that the Nuggets were going to need to make some moves this offseason to truly contend for a title. A lot of people are currently thinking that the Nuggets may fire their head coach David Adelman or trade away their franchise point guard Jamal Murray for a younger player that has a defensive impact.
